Chapter 6 response

According to the information in chapter 6, I think I would prefer to teach in a classroom with digital technology. The reason for that is because it causes your students to be open to more resources outside just the standard computer. When using scanners you can scan things that cannot be brought into the classroom. Using the Pen Input Devices can help the students to take notes faster, and when it is hooked up they can present their notes for the classroom and help other students who are slower at writing them. Touch screens can be used for hands on learning and help the students to touch items that they truly want to select. Also electronic whiteboards can be used for visualization purposes. Teachers can write on them, and if the students are not keeping up with the notes, they can download them to a computer using a scanner. All of these resources and more can help teachers incorporate many things into their classrooms, and it can open many doors for technology for the students. And these are all reasons why I would prefer to teach in a classroom with digital technology.
